Yes, the “King Of Pop” has gone and the world mourns : howling, weeping and grieving over it’s personal loss. A world that, less than a week ago, would have been quite happy to discuss his controversial private life with disdain and pity while quietly drooling with excitement as they passed judgement on the latest photo of his botched up face. But that’s human nature for you : hypocritical, inevitable and unabashed. Who’s next?

Finally got to download FF7 onto my Psp the other day. Although it puts modern RPG’s to shame with its size and enthralling gameplay and is pocket gaming at its best, there’s something not quite right about the price… UPDATE

Backbone Entertainment, formally known as Digital Eclipse, are very busy thank you . They specialise in emulation, a process that converts old program code and makes it playable on more more modern hardware. Even though they do a splendid job, the trouble is this process doesn’t make the original code any better…

Back in 1987, after Hollywood had made yet another Jaws sequel , “The Revenge”, one of the stars of the movie, Michael Caine,was asked if he had seen the finished version of the film to which he replied : “I haven’t seen it but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific!” ….

Apparently sales of video games in USA for the month of May this year are predicted to decline by 17 %. But rather than questioning the industry’s inability to come up with some great games for the month, analysts are blaming last year’s releases of GTA and Wii Fit…
